Let me start by saying this was our very first Hindu Wedding. So thanks Barnali and John for trusting us to film this important day for you. I have to mention that Barnali is the most super organized person ever. She constantly kept me updated with itinerary changes, music ideas, contacts etc. It really helped us prepare for the day. So on to the video. The dual ceremonies, the car decorating and of course “the dance” were just a few of the highlights of the day. Take a look at the clip and see some of the others.

Some of you may at times experience stuttery playback when attempting to view clips on this blog or on the Vimeo link. This may be caused by a slow internet connection or due to volume on Vimeo where my videos are hosted. For best playback experience, hit the play arrow, then momentarily hit pause. Wait until the gray progress bar makes its way all the way to the right. Then hit play again. The video should now play smoothly.

You might say this was not your typical wedding but it was a wonderful one indeed. The day started with a morning ceremony at the Liberty House in Jersey City. It was a real emotional experience watching Emily and Jeremy exchange their vows. Following the ceremony everyone headed upstairs for cocktails and brunch. Emily and Jeremy danced while the band (and guests) sang “All you need is Love”. Family members did their roasts and toasts and then Jeremy sang to Emily. After some alleged naps, guests reconvened at Markers for the evening reception. One of the highlights of the night was Jeremy singing again, this time with “The Nerds” and with Emily on tamborine. Oh and if people weren’t dancing or in the bar, it was a pretty safe bet they were in the “StudioBooth”. It was just a great day and we’re thankful to Emily and Jeremy for letting us capture it for them.

The weather was a little fickle but it didn’t dampen the spirits of anyone celebrating this wonderful day for Colleen and David. My favorite moment of the day? the “Star Wars” serenade to their first meeting on the lawn ( you’ll have to watch the DVD). Here’s our official Highlight- enjoy!

Last Saturday, we got to film Barnali and John getting married – twice!. There was the Filipino Catholic ceremony in the morning followed by an afternoon of Assamese wedding rituals. We ended up with hours of footage but here’s our compilation of the day – in 68 seconds! More to come later.

Here’s a quick preview of Emily & Jeremy’s very classy waterfront wedding at the Liberty House in Jersey City. We started the day in their awesome suite overlooking the Hudson and the NYC skyline. The rain held up just long enough for some shots of Emily and Jeremy’s first meeting out on the lawn. Take a look.
It was a beautiful day for Caroline, Daniel and their family and friends, many who traveled a long way to join the festivities. The outdoor ceremony and reception held at Mercer Oaks was filled with emotion, laughter, tears, good food and of course -lots of dancing. These guys were so relaxed and playful with each other all day. You could tell they were really out to enjoy their wedding day.
Caroline and Dan – thanks for letting me capture this special day for you. Your DVD will arrive shortly!
Here’s our trailer from Colleen and David’s fantastic lakeside wedding at The Mill at Spring Lake Heights. It was a fun morning with Colleen and her bridesmaids in the kitchen at Colleen’s mom and dad’s house. There was food, makeup, mamosas, and hairspray everywhere! Later on the front lawn, David got to see his beautiful bride for the first time. Check it out – we’ll post a full highlight later.
Here’s our official highlight reel from Doreena & Daniel’s wedding. The day was capped with a spectacular reception in the new Grand Ballroom at The Venetian in Garfield NJ. I stepped up the pace a bit on this one to match the incredible energy and excitement from the day. So turn up the volume a couple notches, hit play and enjoy!
It was a fantastic wedding day for Caroline & Daniel. Here’s a preview – you’ll hear Daniels voice in this clip sharing a few thoughts about the day. Enjoy!
