We just got back from Naiya and Prasanth’s amazing wedding. We’ll start going through the footage to get a good trailer out for everyone but in the mean time, here’s a replay of the “Engagement Story” presented at the reception last night. We had such a good time putting this together. Naiya and Prasanth were so into the creative process which helped us pull off this shoot in just one day. Pretty good acting too huh? Enjoy.
Ranelle and Shawn will probably say their wedding day was a blur. Hopefully this trailer will bring back a few memories of what happened one week ago today!

A great wedding day for Karla and Dan. The weather was pretty lousy until…..about 30 minutes before showtime- then sunshine! The staff at the Rams Head Inn got out their towels and got everything cleaned up for a beautiful outdoor cermony. Lots of highlights but here’s a quick trailer for now.
We’re happy to post our first highlight of 2010! Our coverage began at The Mansion recording Michelle’s spectacular decent down the grand staircase and some other great photoshoot scenes with the family. After a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary’s, everyone made their way back to the reception to party with the amazing Jellyroll Band. Just a great day all around. Lots of love, food, fun, music and people to share it with. What more could you ask for. Thanks Michelle and Greg for letting us capture the day!
We’ve had the opportunity to work with some very talented photographers over the past year. I met Tory while shooting Emily and Jeremy’s wedding last September. The first thing that struck me was watching her shoot with a film camera . No autofocus, no digital histograms, just looking down into a tiny viewfinder and capturing the moment. I just recently saw the photos and they are amazing. You can check out more of her work here torywilliamsphotography.com
Let me start by saying this was our very first Hindu Wedding. So thanks Barnali and John for trusting us to film this important day for you. I have to mention that Barnali is the most super organized person ever. She constantly kept me updated with itinerary changes, music ideas, contacts etc. It really helped us prepare for the day. So on to the video. The dual ceremonies, the car decorating and of course “the dance” were just a few of the highlights of the day. Take a look at the clip and see some of the others.

Some of you may at times experience stuttery playback when attempting to view clips on this blog or on the Vimeo link. This may be caused by a slow internet connection or due to volume on Vimeo where my videos are hosted. For best playback experience, hit the play arrow, then momentarily hit pause. Wait until the gray progress bar makes its way all the way to the right. Then hit play again. The video should now play smoothly.

You might say this was not your typical wedding but it was a wonderful one indeed. The day started with a morning ceremony at the Liberty House in Jersey City. It was a real emotional experience watching Emily and Jeremy exchange their vows. Following the ceremony everyone headed upstairs for cocktails and brunch. Emily and Jeremy danced while the band (and guests) sang “All you need is Love”. Family members did their roasts and toasts and then Jeremy sang to Emily. After some alleged naps, guests reconvened at Markers for the evening reception. One of the highlights of the night was Jeremy singing again, this time with “The Nerds” and with Emily on tamborine. Oh and if people weren’t dancing or in the bar, it was a pretty safe bet they were in the “StudioBooth”. It was just a great day and we’re thankful to Emily and Jeremy for letting us capture it for them.

The weather was a little fickle but it didn’t dampen the spirits of anyone celebrating this wonderful day for Colleen and David. My favorite moment of the day? the “Star Wars” serenade to their first meeting on the lawn ( you’ll have to watch the DVD). Here’s our official Highlight- enjoy!
